The Original 9 Popples

These are the Popples that the show originally started with.

P.C. Popple

P.C. Popple is sort of the leader of the Popples. P.C. stands for Pretty Cool. He is very clever and very stylish. All Popples girls thinks so. He also has a magic snap which can make flower bloom, doors open, and all sorts of things happen. That’s why he’s pretty cool! PC and Party are the Popples that appear the most in episodes out of all the Popples. He, Party, and Pancake make up the largest Popples in size. Body: blue Hair: purple Tummy: yellow

Party Popple

Party Popple always likes to, guess what, PARTY! There’s not one moment that pass by where she’s not pulling confetti from her pouch and giggling like crazy! She’s looking for a good time and talks a lot about it. She and Prize are in a constant battle over which is really PC’s main squeeze. Party and PC are the only two Popples that appear in EVERY Popples episode, and she is lucky enough to have the honor of being part of the official Popples logo. She, PC, and Pancake make up the largest Popples in size. Body: pink Hair: dark pink Tummy: white

Pancake Popple

Pancake Popple is not as outgoing as some of the other Popples. She loves to make people laugh by tickling them with her tail and is compassionate, knowing just the right things to say when you’re feeling blue. She, PC, and Party make up the largest Popples in size. Body: purple Hair: orange Tummy: green

Prize Popple

Prize Popple loves one thing the most, looking at herself in the mirror! She knows she’s the most beautiful Popple ever and she’s pretty convinced that PC thinks so too. She tells the best stories and jokes but she won’t let Party cross that line when it comes to PC. She, Puzzle, and Puffball make up the medium-sized Popple trio. Body: magenta Hair: white Tummy: blue

Puzzle Popple

Puzzle Popple is just plain silly! He always has wacky ideas and makes funny faces. Though he is the biggest goof ball around, he is very smart and reads a lot! He, Prize, and Puffball make up the medium-sized Popple trio. Body: orange Hair: green Tummy: yellow

Puffball Popple

Puffball Popple cannot stand to get her soft white fur dirty and is very soft-spoken. Actually, she usually talks by throwing her voice and is quite a talented ventriloquist. She, Prize, and Puzzle make up the medium-sized Popple trio. Body: white Hair: yellow Tummy: blue

Putter Popple

Putter Popple is also very wacky! He’s quite a trickster and likes to pull practical jokes. He comes up with crazy inventions. He, Potato Chip, and Pretty Bit make up the smallest-sized Popple trio, excluding the Pufflings. Body: green Hair: orange Tummy: yellow

Potato Chip Popple

Potato Chip Popple loves to eat sweets and junk food! She likes to hid in small places and surprise kids and fellow Popples. She, Putter, and Pretty Bit make up the smallest-sized Popple trio. Body: yellow Hair: pink Tummy: white

Pretty Bit Popple

Pretty Bit Popple is a bit shy as well as pretty. She likes to write poems and always takes in rhyme! She is also the Popple expert on manners and etiquette. She, Potato Chip, and Putter Bit make up the smallest-sized Popple trio. Body: light purple Hair: dark pink Tummy: pink

Punk Rocker Popples

These Popples added music and jive to the show, marking The Popples as undisputely 80’s.

Punkster Popple

Punkster Popple is a part of the Popple rock star duo. He plays guitar and is best known for his very hip earring in his left ear and the lightning bolt on his tummy. He and Punkity are medium-sized Popples. Body: blue, black Hair: pink, orange Tummy: pink with lightning bolt

Punkity Popple

Punkity Popple is a part of the Popple rock star duo and bears a star on her tummy. She sings very loudly and sometimes plays tamborine! She is best known for her fashion and hair do that is modeled after Cyndi Lauper! She and Punkster are medium-sized Popples. Body: magenta, black Hair: pink, light purple Tummy: green with star

Baby Popples

These cute babies were soon discovered after the Punk Rockers. Even though they are babies, they are the same size as Prize, Puffball, and Puzzle.

Some differences from Baby Popples and other Popples: their cheeks are different colors, instead of one color like most Popples.

Bibsy Popple

These two babies love getting into mischief. Bibsy wears a white star-spangled bonnet, bib, and booties. Body: white Hair: pink Tummy: yellow

Cribsy Popple

Cribsy wears blue and white striped bonnet, bib, and booties. Body: pink Hair: pink Tummy: blue

Sports Popples

Sports Popples were introduced in the cartoon much later. They are NOT the original Popples dressed up in sports clothing, as some people mistakingly believed, since their names, appearance, and voices are completely different on the cartoon from the original Popples. As far as I know, they have never been in contact with any of original, baby, or punk rocker Popples. They have met Bonnie and Billy though, encouraging the two kids in after-school athletics. The Sports Popples are medium-sized Popples that turn into a sports ball.

Some differences from Sports Popples and other Popples: their cheeks are different colors, instead of one color; their tummy color is unknown since they always wear their sport uniform.

Cuester Popple

Cuester Popple turns into an “8” billard ball. No plush toy of him was made. Body: green Hair: blue

Pitcher Popple

Pitcher Popple turns into a baseball. No plush toy of him was made. The plush baseball Popple that was made is of P.C. Popple dressed as a baseball player. However, Pitcher Popple IS NOT P.C. Popple. Body: yellow Hair: orange

Dunker Popple

Dunker Popple turns into a basketball. He has extra long legs and arms. Body: orange Hair: magneta

T.D. Popple

T.D. Popple turns into a football. T.D. stands for Touchdown. Body: white Hair: blue

Big Kick Popple

Big Kick Popple turns into a soccer ball. Body: purple Hair: blue

Net Set Popple

Net Set Popple turns into a tennis ball. The plush toy of him was only produced in the United Kingdom and possibly Australia. Body: light blue Hair: yellow

Pufflings

Pufflings were introduced after the Punk Rockers and the Babies. They interact with all the Popples and provided a couple of riddles every episode after they were introduced. They are smaller than Putter, Potato Chip, and Pretty Bit. They do not have pouches like the Popples but they also turn into balls of fur by flipping inside-out. When they are a ball of fur, a piece of paper (or on the plush toy, a plastic tag) sticks out which bears a riddle. The riddles are usually silly and corny! Pufflings do not talk but only laugh (at their own jokes!). There were only six of them: white, blue, purple, yellow, red, and magenta-colored.
